Cammarosano M. – Marizza M. 2015a, 187 translate these symbols as the subject of the following ŠE-ru. However, this cannot be correct, since, as Warbinek L. 2020a, 354 points out, we do not expect to see the KIN symbols in this position. Warbinek treats them as an error and does not translate them. However, it is equally possible that ŠE-ru was originally omitted and then added after the first symbols were listed, in which case they are part of the obersvation.
Warbinek L. 2020a, 356 translates “Gli uomini di Ḫatti si persero!…”, taking MEŠ URUḫat-ti as the subject of ME-aš. Though the verb is singular and the noun plural, this translation is still possible since this text has many such incongruencies. Alternatively, if we take colon 52 as part of the observation and not an error to be deleted, L[ÚKÚR could be the subject of the verb.
