end of rev. IV

The meaning of the term tapašša- is unclear though seems to refer to some sort of ailment, though the meaning “fever”, based on Indo-European cognates or possible origins as a loan-word is not certin (HEG, D1, 121-123;
Note the singular pronoun referring back to two nouns.
The likely cultic context of this reference is unclear (Hout Th.P.J. van den 1998c, 127), though is perhaps also referenced in KUB 25.15, obv. 5′; KUB 31.77, obv. ii 16; HT 34, rev. 8′.
Unusually, the particle =kan is found mid-sentence here.
As pointed out by Hout Th.P.J. van den 1998c, 129, it is unclear to what KI.MIN refers, but likely is meant to clarify that no other ailment is foreseen.
No outcome seems to be recorded for this inquiry.
It is unclear to what KI.MIN refers.
For this expression see CHD, S1, 104.
This liver feature is attested only in this text.
Cf. obv, II 48.
Presumably KI.MIN is specifying that no other deity beside the Sun-Goddess of Arinna of Progeny is angry for this reason.
It is unusual to have nu-kán in the middle of the list of oracular observations. ⸢ni⸣ nu-kán is perhaps a mistake for ni-eš-kán.
