Literature from the Konkordanz

  • Y. Sakuma, Diss., 2009: II 460f.

Palaeography and handwriting

A dating of this fragment to the NS (jh.) can be suggested based on the diagnostic sign TAR. However, this determination remains dubious, as several early forms characterize the fragment, such as IT, LI, possibly AL (less clear).

Linguistic characteristics

For the bird name ḫūwa-, attested here and elsewhere in its stem form instead of being inflected, see the discussion in the introduction to CTH 573.86.

Historical context

The name of the augur Luwanza is also attested in KUB 16.67 III 16 (CTH 573.68).
